What is Yur Home™?

Yur Home is an iOS home inventory app. Build a searchable record of your belongings with From Photo (AI analysis), Enter (manual entry), optional iCloud sync, and exports for insurance or records.

How much does Yur Home cost?

Yur Home is a free download. Enter, Suggest from Photo, browsing, editing, and export always remain free.

Cloud From Photo analysis uses OpenAI credit packs purchased in the App Store:

1 credit is used per From Photo analysis. There is no subscription and no free OpenAI analysis trial. Buy packs in Settings → OpenAI Credits.

Do I need an OpenAI API key?

No. App Store builds do not use bring-your-own API keys. Analysis runs through Yur Home’s service when you spend credits.

Does Yur Home use Apple Intelligence?

Apple Intelligence photo analysis with a one-time Full Access unlock will be offered in a future update on supported iPhones and iPads.

At launch, use OpenAI credits for From Photo, or add items with Enter any time.

How do I add items to my inventory?

On the Add tab:

From Photo — choose a photo for AI analysis when you have OpenAI credits. Review suggested items, then save.
Enter — add items manually any time. Optionally attach a photo, then tap Suggest from Photo for free on-device field hints. Always review before saving.

How does OpenAI analysis work?

When you use From Photo with credits, Yur Home sends the photo to its analysis service (powered by OpenAI) to suggest item names, categories, rooms, and estimated replacement values. You review and edit every suggestion before saving.

Where is my inventory stored?

By default, inventory data and photos are stored locally on your device. You can optionally enable iCloud Documents sync to keep records across your Apple devices.

In Settings → Data, you can permanently delete all inventory items and photos from this device and from iCloud Documents when sync is enabled.

Can I export my inventory?

Yes — export is always free. Yur Home supports CSV, PDF, ZIP, plain text, or Reminders from the Inventory tab.

What should I do if something isn’t working?

Try closing and reopening the app first. If the issue continues, send us a message from the Home page with your device model, iOS version, your credit balance if relevant, and what happened.
